Chulalongkorn University is a public and autonomous research university in Bangkok, Thailand. It was later established as a national university in 1917, making it the oldest institute of higher education in Thailand.

Mahidol University, an autonomous research institution in Thailand, had its origin in the establishment of Siriraj Hospital in 1888. King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi is an engineering and technology university in Thailand, focusing on teaching and research. It is one of nine national research universities (NRU) in Thailand. It is in Bang Mot Sub-district, Thung Khru District, Bangkok. It was founded on 18 April 1960, making it the third oldest engineering school and seventh oldest university in Thailand.
